We currently have two women's groups that meet monthly. The 'purpose' of the Disciple Women's Fellowship (DWF) is: "To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ."
Joyce baker dwf group
This group meets on the third Tuesday of the month a 6pm at the church. Their current president is Linda Scott. They enjoy a meal together prior to each meeting. They also have a lesson that follows the "Just Women" curriculum and have several work sessions throughout the year for craft projects.
ruth heimer dwf group
This group meets on the third Monday of every month at 1:30pm at the church. Their meetings include devotions, lesson, and craft sessions for items for the annual Blessings Boutique Bazaar. They have a luncheon meeting twice during the year. The current president is Linda Paul.
Ways & means
Ways & Means is a DWF Committee that prepares and serves meals for various dinner/lunch meetings for groups and organizations in the community. The chairperson for this committee is Janice Lacy. The group continues to receive compliments on the meals they serve and the excellent service that they provide!
heart & hand committee
This group is a service committee that provides lunch before or after a funeral for the deceased's family. Donna Bagley is the coordinator for this committee. Food items are donated from church members for the meals. If you would like to help with food items, please contact Donna to be put on the list to call when donations are needed.
